CERTIFIED HOME BUILDER



The Certified Professional Builder Program was instituted and is administered by the Saskatchewan Home Builders' Association. The courses taken by the builders include Business Management, Finance and Banking, Sales and Marketing, Construction Management, Service and Warranty, Costing and Estimating, Sales-New Homes, and Codes and Construction.

Certified builders must have successfully taken these courses and/or passed the exams in these various components of home building. Each builder member of the Home Builders' Association must also be a member of the Saskatchewan New Home Warranty Program to ensure protection for the builders' customers.

Upon fulfilling these requirements, the builder receives a master certificate designating them as a Certified Professional Home Builder.

The courses completed by each builder provide then with the tools to construct homes that are world renowned for their energy efficiency and quality of construction. All this takes place in a tough competitive market with many outside challenges.
